Innovate: Project 002

January 9, 2011

It’s my brother’s birthday on Tuesday and he adores maps–the really old kind that have tears in the creases from constant folding. So I dug through my parents’ garage and found some old state maps to use as wrapping paper for his birthday gift.

I used an old Arizona state map that has some of our favorite places we used to visit as a kid like Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon. He loved it. Not only did I save paper, but it got us talking about all the things we used to do as kids and reminded us of all the places we still want to visit. Which reminds me, my next post will be from outside the U.S. so stay tuned.
