On my first cruise (Costa Lines) back in the early 1970s, we watched and yelled as the ship’s crew dumped ALL the garbage off the stern everyday. We were sickened by it, but they didn’t even understand what we were yelling. If they still dump at sea it is well hidden, but what we gather (and trip over) from the beaches here on the east coast of Florida tells me there are still some litter bugs at sea and the fish are just about gone from the river and the coastline. Even deepsea fishing boats come back empty now. It is good to read your blog and know that this is finally getting attention. Good for you! Best wishes, pc
